iPoster is a poster of any size, usually small enough to place on a counter or table, that can be printed on any medium like paper, digital, email, search pages etc. iPosters would have 'MSL Code' in number, QR code and Barcode format. Consumers using 'MSL Wallet' can scan/enter the 'MSL Code' to execute any transactions like payment, reservation, appointment, check-ins, orders, purchase etc. 'Single Use Digital Signature' (SUDS) is a computer generated 'Single Use Token' used to execute sensitive transactions, for example, Credit/Debit/Bank Account transactions or Web Site Logins. Instead of using real Card/Account numbers or Passwords, SUDS can be used which would be replaced by real number or another token in a secured server before transmitting to transaction processors for processing. If the computer generated 'Single Use Token' has '*'s, then the Consumers have to replace '*' with their own Personal Identification Number to create SUDS. If not the computer generated number (or string) can be used as SUDS. With SUDS, Merchants can never save or transmit sensitive information. Any Consumer can be a Favorite Customer of any Merchant or MySingleLink. When a Consumer becomes a Favorite Customer of MySingleLink then the Consumer automatically becomes Favorite Customer of all Merchants. Consumers can always exclude Merchants from being their Favorite Customer. When Merchants issue Coupons all of their Favorite Customers would automatically receive the Coupons unless the Coupon is a Paid Coupon. For the Paid Coupons, the Consumers would receive only a notification. Consumers can be Favorite Customers of any Merchant or MySingleLink by scanning/entering an 'MSL Code' using 'MSL Wallet'. Merchants can display iPoster which has the 'MSL Code' on any paper or digital medium. 'MSL POS' is a Free Merchant App available for iPhones, Android Phones, iPads, iPods and Android Tablets.
Security Usually any transaction that involves Payment or that includes monetary transaction would be considered as Sensitive. Following are some of the transactions that are considered to be sensitive:
Sensitive transactions are secured either by processing the transactions using the actual Plastic Cards or by using 'Single Use Digital Signature' (SUDS). SUDS is a computer generated random number with '*' as blanks where '*' is/or are replaced by Account Holders' Personal Identification Number. Transactions processed using SUDS is more secured than that were processed using Plastic Cards.
PCI Compliance is a Compliant Procedure to meet the requirements set by Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). PCI DSS requirements are designed to ensure that ALL companies that process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment. Essentially any merchant that has a Merchant ID (MID). There are distinct responsibilities for every entity involved in Credit/Debit Card processing like Issuer, Processor, Sales Organizations and Merchants. Most of the cost is trickled down to Merchants level and then trickled down to Consumers thru higher cost. In order to meet the requirements set by Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), which is known as PCI Compliant, Merchants are required to buy additioanl hardware, software and services. Any entity not compliant with PCI are charged with additional fees and penalties until they become PCI Compliant.
