Big Picture

It is better to see the Big Picture before seeing the nitty gritty details of the Big Picture.

Sprint-thru™ provides sign-in (also referred to as check-in), order interface and order pickup services for parking lot, in-door and curbside pickups to shorten pickup time by 80% with 100% order accuracy for consumers (end users) and delivry service providers using smart lockers with $0 labor cost for merchants.

Sprint-thru™ not only supports orders placed in advance prior to visiting the location, it also supports orders placed at the location for immediate pickup.

Following is a general description of Sprint-Thru™ process:

  • Sign-in and order interface services are handled through iPosters and order pickup services is handled through traffic management and smart lockers.

  • Sprint-Thru™ does not process order, but directs the consumers through a QR Code to an online ordering service provider chosen by the Merchant or directs the consumers through a telephone number to order takers chosen by the Merchant.

  • Whether at the location orders are placed through an online ordering system or through an order taker, the orders will be directly loaded into merchant's POS system for immediate pickup and the consumers will be automatically signed-in.

  • Sprint-Thru™ also accepts sign-in through a QR Code from delivery service providers and from consumers who have already placed orders remotely.

  • Sprint-Thru™ works with all the Point Of Sale (POS) systems, all online ordering systems and with all delivery service providers without any additional custom developed Application Programming Interface (API) and without texting or emailing any code.

  • Sprint-Thru™ is the only system that can be used in parking lot because single unit dedicated lockers are used with or without conveyors.

  • Sprint-Thru™ is the only system that can be used without sending a one-time code to the consumers.

  • Sprint-Thru™ is the only system that can be used by delivery persons to pickup the orders from lockers just by entering a few digits or characters from the order identifier known to the delivery persons.

Because of limited space only images describing parking lot and curbside order pickups are displayed and in-door and patio order pickup are not displayed here.

  • When consumers or delivery persons scan the QR Code displayed on the iPoster and select the option to sign-in, the consumers or delivery persons will be directed to a sprint-thru page and the consumers or delivery persons can sign-in for an already placed order.

For example, the computer based kiosks can not be installed in the parking lot that can be accessed from vehicles.

For example, to place orders from vehicles at the parking lot, the QR Code based self-service may not be available or may not be acceptable for consumers.

  • Interface & Security:

    • Order takers can use any mobile or desktop device with internet connection.

    • Order takers can use any online ordering system to take the orders.

For example, delivery persons and consumers who have signed-in will stay in a waiting location until locker numbers are posted in the order display screens.

For example, delivery persons and consumers upon finding the locker numbers for pick up will move to the locker location, pickup the orders and move away from the locker location.

Parking Lot Lockers

  • Sprint-thru driveway with multiple pickup points with lockers can replace any exising drive-thrus.

  • New locations with sprint-thru driveway can be built instead of building single or multiple drive-thrus.

  • Add as many pickup points as required to any existing sprint-thru driveway where the only limitation is the available space in the parking lot.

  • Sprint-thru costs 50% - 80% less than drive-thrus. Cost depends on individual parking lot setup.

Sprint-Thru Parking Lot Lockers come in the following 3 configurations:

  • Without a transporter

  • With a transporter

  • With an extended transporter

Sprint-thru VS Drive-thru

  1. Traffic Management: Sprint-thru uses driveways with unlimited number of ordering stations and driveways with unlimited number pickup stations whereas drive-thru uses lanes with one pickup window in each lane. Sprint-thru traffic management lets order ready customers to skip order not ready customers whereas drive-thru queues and locks customers in drive-thru lane or lanes. Skip the line is a false claim made by merchants using drive-thru lane or lanes.

  2. Order Management: Sprint-thru can accept unlimited number of orders simultaneously whereas drive-thru can accept only one order at a time.

  3. Order Pickup Management: Sprint-thru can let unlimited number of customers to pickup orders simultaneously whereas drive-thru can let only one customer to pickup an order at a time.
