Big Picture

Each and every propreitory methodology used in Secured Self-CheckOut Machines contributes in providing the highest possible Return On Investment for every merchant by achieving the set of goals as following:

  1. Reduce inventory shrinkage due to theft to 0%

  2. Provide 24/7 service even on holidays

  3. Increase revenue

  4. Reduce initial cost

  5. Reduce recurring cost

  6. Never let customers to move any item from secured to unsecured area without paying

Even though there are many factors contribute for inventory shrinkage, the most inventory shrinkage occurs due to customer theft and shoplifting.

To achieve the stated goals mentioned above, the problems related to unsecured self-checkout machines were analyzed and proprietary methodologies are incorporated in secured self-checkout machines to alleviate those problems.

Following are some of the proprietary methodologies used in secured self-checkout:

  • Only items verified by passing through a verification chamber can be purchased.

  • Only verified and paid items can be picked up from lockers.

  • Customers intentionally or unintentionally can not skip passing items through verification chamber.

  • Customers intentionally or unintentionally can not pass high priced items through verification chamber while paying for low priced items.

To achieve the stated goals mentioned above, the problems related to unsecured self-checkout machines were analyzed and proprietary methodologies are invented to bypass checkouts to alleviate those problems.

Following are some of the proprietary methodologies used to bypass checkout:

  • Only Authenticated Shopping Carts or Shopping Baskets can be used.

  • Only items authenticated by Shopping Cart or Shopping Basket can be picked up from Bins.

  • Items picked up by mistake can be dropped off in a Return Box for credit.
